Terms & Conditions

Organized by Connected Pakistan

By applying for membership, purchasing a ticket, registering for, attending, or participating in any KonnectX event, summit, conference, networking dinner, community activity, chapter, webinar, or related experience, you ("Participant", "Member", "Attendee", or "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").

These Terms apply to all KonnectX activities operated, managed, promoted, or facilitated by Connected Pakistan, including its employees, representatives, organizers, partners, sponsors, speakers, mentors, volunteers, vendors, contractors, and service providers, collectively referred to as the "Organizers."

1. About KonnectX

1.1. KonnectX is a premium business and professional community created and operated by Connected Pakistan.

1.2. KonnectX may include conferences, summits, networking sessions, business gatherings, dinners, workshops, panels, recognition programs, private meetings, webinars, community activities, and other experiences.

1.3. KonnectX is designed for professionals, founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, startup leaders, agency owners, freelancers, investors, executives, industry leaders, and other approved members of the business and technology ecosystem.

1.4. Participation in KonnectX does not guarantee any specific business opportunity, investment, partnership, employment opportunity, client acquisition, revenue, media coverage, introduction, speaker opportunity, award, or commercial outcome.

1.5. KonnectX is a professional networking and community platform. Any business relationship, transaction, investment, partnership, or commercial arrangement between Participants is entered into independently and at the Participants' own discretion and risk.

2. Membership and Approval

2.1. KonnectX membership may be application-based and approval-based.

2.2. Submission of a membership application does not guarantee approval.

2.3. Connected Pakistan reserves the right to review applications based on professional background, business profile, experience, community relevance, conduct, available capacity, and other criteria determined by the Organizers.

2.4. The Organizers may approve, reject, defer, or request additional information regarding an application.

2.5. Where an application is rejected, any refund applicable under the specific membership offer or published membership policy will be processed according to the applicable terms.

2.6. The Organizers are not required to provide detailed reasons for rejecting an application where doing so may compromise internal review criteria, privacy, security, or other legitimate interests.

2.7. Membership is personal to the approved individual unless a specific Corporate Membership or transfer arrangement expressly allows otherwise.

3. Membership Term

3.1. Membership remains valid for the period specified at the time of purchase.

3.2. Membership does not automatically renew unless expressly stated otherwise.

3.3. Membership benefits may change from time to time based on the current KonnectX membership structure.

3.4. The Organizers reserve the right to modify, replace, add, or discontinue specific membership benefits where reasonably necessary.

3.5. No individual benefit shall be interpreted as a permanent or guaranteed entitlement unless expressly stated in writing.

4. Membership Benefits

4.1. Depending on the membership category, KonnectX may provide benefits such as:

4.2. Membership benefits may be subject to eligibility, selection, availability, capacity, scheduling, editorial review, and approval.

4.3. The availability of a benefit during one event or membership period does not create a permanent obligation to provide the same benefit in future periods.

5. Event Registration and Tickets

5.1. Event registration is confirmed only after successful payment and confirmation by the Organizers.

5.2. Payment confirmation constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

5.3. Participants are responsible for providing accurate registration information.

5.4. Tickets, registrations, and invitations may be subject to capacity restrictions.

5.5. The Organizers may refuse entry to a Participant where there are legitimate security, conduct, eligibility, capacity, or operational reasons.

5.6. Participants must carry valid identification and any required digital or physical ticket, invitation, membership credential, or confirmation.

6. No Refund Policy

6.1. All KonnectX event ticket payments are strictly non-refundable unless Connected Pakistan expressly states otherwise in writing for a specific event or offer.

6.2. No refund shall ordinarily be provided due to:

6.3. If a Participant does not attend an event after purchasing a ticket, the ticket amount shall not automatically be refundable.

6.4. No partial refund shall be provided for unused portions of a ticket or membership package.

7. Participant Transfer

7.1. A Participant may request to transfer their event ticket to another eligible individual only if the Organizers receive written notification within the timeframe communicated for that particular event.

7.2. Unless a different policy is specifically announced, transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the event.

7.3. An administrative transfer fee of PKR 10,000/- may apply where applicable.

7.4. The replacement Participant must satisfy the eligibility requirements of the relevant event or membership category.

7.5. The Organizers reserve the right to approve or reject any replacement Participant.

7.6. No transfer shall be considered complete until the Organizers provide written confirmation.

7.7. A transfer does not create any entitlement to additional benefits, upgraded seating, speaker access, recognition, or other privileges beyond those attached to the original booking.

7.8. No transfer may be permitted within 7 days of the event where operational arrangements make the transfer impractical.

8. Corporate Memberships and Tickets

8.1. Corporate Memberships or multi-person packages may include a specified number of individuals.

8.2. The individuals nominated under a Corporate Membership must comply with all applicable KonnectX policies.

8.3. Changes to nominated representatives may require prior approval.

8.4. Corporate Membership benefits cannot automatically be converted into cash, refunds, or individual benefits.

8.5. Connected Pakistan may modify corporate access arrangements where necessary for capacity, security, or operational reasons.

9. Event Capacity and Exclusivity

9.1. KonnectX events may have limited capacity.

9.2. The Organizers reserve the right to restrict registrations, close ticket sales, or limit access once capacity is reached.

9.3. Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee access to every individual, speaker, mentor, investor, CEO, founder, sponsor, or guest attending the event.

9.4. Networking opportunities are facilitated by the Organizers but are not guaranteed.

9.5. The Organizers do not guarantee that a Participant will meet or connect with any particular person.

10. Speakers, Mentors and Guests

10.1. Speaker, mentor, guest, panelist, celebrity, executive, founder, or special guest participation is subject to availability.

10.2. The Organizers reserve the right to change speakers, mentors, panelists, guests, moderators, or session formats.

10.3. The inability of a particular speaker or guest to attend shall not ordinarily constitute grounds for a refund.

10.4. Any advertised speaker or guest may be replaced by another suitable professional where circumstances require.

10.5. Participation in a speaker session does not constitute endorsement by Connected Pakistan of the speaker's views, products, services, businesses, political opinions, investment recommendations, or other statements.

11. Networking Disclaimer

11.1. KonnectX facilitates professional networking but does not guarantee any specific commercial outcome.

11.2. Participants are solely responsible for evaluating the credibility, background, business practices, financial position, and representations of other Participants.

11.3. Connected Pakistan does not guarantee the authenticity, financial performance, business success, investment potential, or professional credentials of any Participant unless expressly verified and stated by Connected Pakistan.

11.4. Participants should conduct their own due diligence before entering into any business, investment, employment, partnership, or financial arrangement.

11.5. Connected Pakistan shall not be responsible for disputes arising from independent dealings between Participants.

12. Investment and Business Opportunities

12.1. KonnectX may provide opportunities for startups, founders, investors, agencies, and businesses to interact.

12.2. Connected Pakistan does not provide investment, legal, financial, tax, accounting, or professional advice merely by facilitating networking.

12.3. Any investment, funding, partnership, acquisition, contract, or commercial arrangement entered into between Participants is entirely independent of Connected Pakistan.

12.4. Participants are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and obtaining independent professional advice where appropriate.

12.5. Connected Pakistan shall not be liable for losses arising from any business or financial transaction between Participants.

13. Code of Conduct

13.1. KonnectX is a professional community. Participants are expected to maintain a respectful, ethical, and professional standard of conduct.

13.2. The following conduct is prohibited:

13.3. Participants must respect other members, guests, speakers, staff, partners, sponsors, venue personnel, and service providers.

13.4. The Organizers may issue warnings, restrict access, suspend membership, remove a Participant from an event, or terminate membership where necessary.

13.5. A Participant removed from an event or community due to misconduct shall not be entitled to a refund or compensation.

14. Harassment and Professional Boundaries

14.1. KonnectX maintains a zero-tolerance approach towards harassment, intimidation, stalking, unwanted sexual conduct, discrimination, threats, and serious professional misconduct.

14.2. Participants must respect personal and professional boundaries.

14.3. The Organizers may investigate reported incidents and take appropriate action.

14.4. Where necessary, serious incidents may be reported to relevant authorities.

15. Solicitation and Promotional Conduct

15.1. KonnectX is intended for meaningful professional networking and not unrestricted promotional activity.

15.2. Participants must not engage in aggressive selling, spam, mass solicitation, unauthorized data collection, or disruptive promotion.

15.3. Distribution of promotional material, brochures, merchandise, or commercial content may require prior approval.

15.4. Sponsors, partners, exhibitors, and approved businesses may have specific promotional rights according to their agreements with Connected Pakistan.

16. Photography, Videography and Media

16.1. KonnectX events may be photographed, filmed, recorded, livestreamed, or otherwise documented.

16.2. By attending an event, Participants acknowledge that they may appear in photographs, videos, interviews, social media content, promotional material, editorial content, advertisements, websites, publications, and other media.

16.3. Participants grant Connected Pakistan and its authorized partners a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use their image, likeness, voice, and event participation for legitimate promotional, marketing, editorial, archival, documentary, and communication purposes, subject to applicable law.

16.4. Participants shall not be entitled to compensation for such use.

16.5. Connected Pakistan may edit, crop, reproduce, publish, distribute, or otherwise use Event media in different formats.

17. Participant-Generated Content

17.1. Participants may create and publish their own photographs, videos, reviews, and social media content relating to KonnectX.

17.2. Such content must not violate the privacy, intellectual property, reputation, or legal rights of other Participants, speakers, sponsors, partners, or Connected Pakistan.

17.3. Participants must not misrepresent themselves as official representatives, employees, sponsors, partners, or spokespersons of Connected Pakistan or KonnectX without written authorization.

17.4. Participants must not use KonnectX branding for commercial purposes without prior written approval.

18. Intellectual Property

18.1. KonnectX names, logos, branding, designs, graphics, photographs, videos, website content, presentations, documents, publications, and other official materials are protected intellectual property of their respective owners.

18.2. No Participant may reproduce, sell, license, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit proprietary KonnectX content without written permission.

18.3. Participants retain ownership of their original content, subject to any rights granted under these Terms.

19. Event Schedule and Changes

19.1. Published event schedules are subject to change.

19.2. The Organizers may change:

19.3. Changes may be made due to availability, security, venue requirements, operational considerations, government restrictions, weather, technical issues, or other circumstances.

19.4. Such changes shall not automatically entitle Participants to a refund.

20. Venue Changes

20.1. The Organizers reserve the right to move an event to another venue where reasonably necessary.

20.2. The replacement venue may be within the same city or another suitable location depending on circumstances.

20.3. Participants will be notified through official communication channels where reasonably practicable.

20.4. Venue changes shall not automatically create a refund entitlement.

21. Transportation, Dinners and Additional Experiences

21.1. Where transportation, dinners, tours, activities, or other experiences are included in a specific KonnectX package, availability may be subject to capacity and operational requirements.

21.2. Participants must follow the designated schedule and transportation arrangements.

21.3. Participants who fail to arrive at the designated pickup location or time may lose access to the relevant transportation or activity without refund.

21.4. Participants cannot demand alternative transportation, alternative meals, alternative venues, or alternative activities unless expressly approved.

21.5. Where an included experience becomes unavailable, the Organizers may provide a reasonable alternative where practicable.

22. Personal Belongings

22.1. Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings.

22.2. Connected Pakistan, KonnectX, venue operators, and service providers shall not be responsible for loss, theft, damage, or misplacement of personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

22.3. Participants should avoid bringing unnecessary valuables.

23. Security

23.1. The Organizers and venue may implement reasonable security procedures.

23.2. Participants may be required to present identification, tickets, membership credentials, or invitations.

23.3. Bags or belongings may be subject to security checks where permitted by applicable law and venue policy.

23.4. Refusal to comply with reasonable security procedures may result in denial of entry or removal without refund.

24. Prohibited Items

24.1. Weapons, explosives, illegal substances, dangerous objects, or any item prohibited by the venue or applicable law are not permitted.

24.2. The Organizers may refuse entry to anyone carrying prohibited items.

24.3. Serious violations may be reported to relevant authorities.

25. Alcohol, Drugs and Smoking

25.1. Illegal drugs and controlled substances are strictly prohibited.

25.2. Alcohol may only be consumed where legally permitted and expressly allowed by the relevant venue and event policy.

25.3. Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas where applicable.

25.4. Participants who violate these rules may be removed without refund.

26. Data Protection and Privacy

26.1. By registering for KonnectX, Participants consent to the collection and processing of their information for legitimate purposes including:

26.2. Participant information may be shared with relevant service providers where reasonably necessary to deliver KonnectX services.

26.3. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or lawful authority.

26.4. Participants are responsible for ensuring that information submitted to Connected Pakistan is accurate and up to date.

27. Member Directory and Networking Information

27.1. Where KonnectX provides a member directory, profile, community platform, or networking system, Participants may choose or be required to provide professional information for networking purposes.

27.2. Participants must not misuse information obtained through KonnectX.

27.3. Member information must not be harvested, scraped, sold, redistributed, or used for unauthorized marketing campaigns.

27.4. Participants must respect the privacy preferences of other members.

28. Awards and Recognition

28.1. Where KonnectX provides awards, recognition, spotlights, profiles, or other recognition opportunities, eligibility does not guarantee selection.

28.2. Selection may be based on internal criteria, jury decisions, editorial review, community considerations, professional achievements, or other criteria determined by the Organizers.

28.3. The Organizers reserve the right to modify award categories, criteria, deadlines, selection procedures, or recognition formats.

28.4. Awards and recognition decisions made by the designated Organizers or jury shall be final, subject to applicable law.

29. Speaker and Panel Opportunities

29.1. Membership or event participation may provide eligibility for consideration for speaker, panel, moderator, mentor, or other opportunities.

29.2. Eligibility or membership does not guarantee a speaking opportunity.

29.3. Speaker selection may depend on topic relevance, expertise, availability, event format, audience requirements, and editorial or organizational decisions.

29.4. Connected Pakistan may modify or withdraw speaker opportunities where operationally necessary.

30. Business Profiles and Representations

30.1. Participants are responsible for the accuracy of information provided about themselves, their companies, services, achievements, credentials, and professional background.

30.2. Connected Pakistan may request verification or supporting documentation where appropriate.

30.3. The Organizers may remove or modify inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, unlawful, or inappropriate profile information.

30.4. Connected Pakistan does not guarantee the accuracy of claims made by Participants unless specifically verified and published as verified information.

31. Third-Party Partners and Sponsors

31.1. KonnectX may collaborate with sponsors, partners, venues, media organizations, service providers, and other third parties.

31.2. The presence of a sponsor or partner does not constitute an endorsement by Connected Pakistan of all of that organization's products, services, claims, or business activities.

31.3. Participants are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before purchasing products, entering contracts, sharing information, or engaging in business with third parties.

31.4. Connected Pakistan shall not be responsible for disputes arising between Participants and third-party businesses.

32. Force Majeure

32.1. The Organizers shall not be responsible for delay, interruption, modification, postponement, or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control.

32.2. Such circumstances may include:

32.3. In such circumstances, the Organizers may postpone, reschedule, relocate, modify, or cancel an event.

32.4. Unless otherwise expressly announced by Connected Pakistan, such circumstances shall not automatically create a refund obligation.

33. Event Cancellation or Postponement

33.1. Connected Pakistan reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, shorten, or modify a KonnectX event where reasonably necessary.

33.2. Where practicable, the Organizers may offer an alternative date, event, credit, or other arrangement.

33.3. Any refund or alternative compensation shall be determined by the Organizers according to the specific circumstances and applicable law.

33.4. Participants shall not automatically be entitled to compensation for travel, accommodation, lost business opportunities, missed appointments, or other indirect expenses arising from event changes.

34. Participant Removal

34.1. Connected Pakistan may immediately remove a Participant from an event or suspend or terminate membership where the Participant:

34.2. A Participant removed for misconduct shall not be entitled to a refund.

34.3. The Organizers may also suspend future participation where they reasonably consider it necessary to protect the KonnectX community.

35. Reputation and Brand Protection

35.1. Participants must not falsely represent themselves as official representatives of Connected Pakistan, KonnectX, or their partners.

35.2. Participants must not use the KonnectX name, logo, branding, photographs, or official materials to create a misleading association or endorsement.

35.3. Nothing in these Terms prevents a Participant from expressing a genuine personal opinion or lawful criticism.

35.4. The Organizers may take reasonable action against knowingly false, fraudulent, defamatory, or misleading representations concerning KonnectX or its Participants.

36. Limitation of Liability

36.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Connected Pakistan, KonnectX, its organizers, employees, representatives, volunteers, partners, sponsors, contractors, speakers, mentors, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or economic losses arising from participation in KonnectX.

36.2. This includes, where legally permissible, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of data, reputational loss, missed meetings, travel expenses, accommodation expenses, or other consequential costs.

36.3. Participants attend and participate in KonnectX voluntarily and remain responsible for their own conduct, decisions, transactions, and interactions.

36.4. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

37. Indemnification

37.1. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Participants agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from:

37.2. This provision does not apply to the extent that the relevant loss was caused by the proven negligence or unlawful conduct of the Organizers.

38. No Guarantee of Commercial Results

38.1. KonnectX provides access to networking and professional opportunities but does not guarantee:

38.2. Participants acknowledge that commercial results depend on their own actions, capabilities, market conditions, relationships, and other factors beyond the control of Connected Pakistan.

39. Communication

39.1. Official KonnectX communication may be delivered through email, WhatsApp, SMS, phone, social media, websites, member portals, or other official channels.

39.2. Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information and monitoring official communications.

39.3. The Organizers shall not be responsible for consequences arising from a Participant's failure to read or respond to official communications.

40. Amendments to Terms

40.1. Connected Pakistan reserves the right to amend, update, add, or remove provisions of these Terms where reasonably necessary.

40.2. Updated Terms may be published through the official KonnectX website, member portal, registration system, or other official communication channels.

40.3. Continued participation in KonnectX after an amendment becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

41. Severability

41.1. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

41.2. The invalid provision shall, where legally permissible, be interpreted or modified to preserve its intended purpose.

42. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

42.1. These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

42.2. Any dispute arising in connection with KonnectX shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan, subject to applicable law.

43. Final Participant Acknowledgement

By purchasing a KonnectX membership or ticket, submitting an application, registering for an event, or attending a KonnectX activity, you confirm that:
