At Serena Hotels South and Central Asia, Azam served as Corporate Director of Training and Development, designing and delivering training across Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, and later as Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing.
Within the Hashoo Group he served as Chief Operating Officer of the Hashoo Education Division and Dean of the Hashoo School of Hospitality Management, shaping hospitality education and leadership training at scale. He has also held leadership roles connected to Ambiance Hotels and Resorts and other hospitality organizations.
Azam Jamil's contribution to national development includes senior public service. He served as Minister of State and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Tourism Coordination, Government of Pakistan, and as Chairman of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation, providing strategic direction to the country's tourism sector.
